Asha Hope Joins HR Policy as Director of DEI Practice

HR Policy Association is pleased to introduce Asha Hope as our Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Practice. Asha joined our team last month and had a chance to meet many members during last week’s CHRO summit. 

Bringing over ten years of experience and expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion, Asha is responsible for leading HR Policy’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) practice & initiatives.  

Asha will advise and provide strategic support to the Association’s Council on Inclusion and Diversity, including its recently announced Latino Worker Project. She will help develop initiatives, resources, and tools to support greater equity of process and representation of female, Black, Hispanic, Asian, LBGTQ+, and other underrepresented employees in senior management. She will also help members build a long-term sustainable diverse talent pipeline and a culture of belonging. 

Most recently, Asha was Global Head of DEI for DoorDash. In this role, she was responsible for using data and metrics to shape, develop, and drive the implementation of DoorDash’s DEI strategy, including, but not limited to, the integration of DEI into core people and business processes along the total employee lifecycle.  Asha previously held DEI roles with Amazon, Macy’s, and The Coca-Cola Company. 

Asha will engage with HR Policy member company Chief Human Resource Officers and Chief Diversity Officers/DEI Teams in support of advancing their DEI commitments and to influence future workplace policies and DEI next practices.
