Expert Experience, Best Industry Practices and Ready-to-Use Tools

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Center On Executive Compensation, representing a cross-section of America’s large employers, announces the public launch of its new guide: Selecting an Independent Compensation Consultant: A CHRO Guide, available at the Center’s website.

Authored by Ani Huang and Rich Floersch, the Guide is a curated collection of insights, tips, and tools for successfully navigating the compensation consultant selection process based on interviews with 13 Compensation Committee Chairs, CHROs, and compensation consultants across multiple sectors. The Guide combines their experiences and expert advice on selecting an independent compensation consultant.

Center On Executive Compensation President and CEO Ani Huang said, “The Center has advised companies on the critical task of compensation consultant selection for years, and this Guide will combine time-tested strategies and new insights to make the process as efficient and effective as possible.”

The Guide includes an appendix with a sample compensation consultant RFP, sample questions for reference checking and a compensation consultant performance evaluation, making it a very useful offering for corporate leaders at all levels.
