The latest draft of the 2016 Democratic Party Platform calls on Hillary Clinton to issue an executive order should she win the White House that would give a contracting preference to employers that provide their employees with "a living wage, good benefits, and the opportunity to form a union." Although Secretary Clinton previously indicated she needed to study the proposal, inclusion of the "model employer executive order" in the platform is clearly a nod to Sen.
