DOL Overtime Rule Axed: What’s Next for HR?

A Texas federal judge invalidated the Department of Labor’s overtime rule, including the first increase that took effect in July. This ruling halts the Biden administration’s push to raise salary thresholds for overtime exemptions, which were set to rise significantly in 2025.
