Brita L. Stevenson is a director in Leadership Advisory Services focused on architecting performance accelerations solutions for CHROs and other C-suite executives across industries. A “serial builder,” she is passionate about bringing ideas to life and believes chief people officers are some of the most insightful and innovative leaders in business, with a nearly limitless scope to drive change.

Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Brita was at the preeminent executive peer-to-peer convening, learning and development firm G100, a World 50 Company, where she was managing director of G100 Talent Consortium, one of the firm’s main business units bringing together CHROs from Fortune 1000 companies.

Over a decade with the Aspen Institute, a global nonprofit solving today’s most important challenges through dialogue, leadership and action, she led strategy and execution of the Aspen Ideas Festival and Aspen Ideas Festival Spotlight Health. In addition to architecting content, she recruited 300+ thought leaders each year for those events.

Prior to the Aspen Ideas Festival, Brita was responsible for convenings across the Middle East, Europe and North America of the presidents and prime ministers representing the Council of Women World Leaders.
Brita’s earlier career spanned roles at CEDPA and the National Association of Manufacturers in Washington, D.C., as well as Clear Path International in Southeast Asia.

Brita’s extensive educational credentials include an executive certificate in business communication from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, a master’s degree in international affairs and a DiplĂ´me du Programme Internationale from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and a B.A. cum laude from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. She is a standing member of the Junior League of Baltimore and a previous member of the Junior Leagues of Washington, D.C. and Seattle.
