Mr. Schmidt has more than 30 years of experience in labor relations on both the management and the labor sides of the table. He has extensive experience in the private and public sector in addition to multi-employer, multi-bargaining unit negotiations within the manufacturing, trucking, food processing, construction and ware-housing industries. In a 23-year span with the Teamsters, Mr. Schmidt successfully bargained hundreds of agreements. He managed a Teamsters regional brewery and soft drink trade division for 10 years.
Most recently, he served as Corporate Director of Labor Relations for Coca-Cola Enterprises, managing the full collective bargaining process for the company with oversight and negotiations responsibilities for nearly 150 labor agreements.
