Henrique Canarim
Henrique Canarim is Vice President, Senior Assistant General Counsel, and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Leidos. His practice areas include securities regulation, corporate governance, strategic transactions, and capital markets. Henrique serves as lead counsel for SEC disclosures and public company reporting, including proxy statements and corporate sustainability (ESG) reporting. He also advises Leidos and its senior management on NYSE compliance, investor relations, insider trading, and equity compensation.
Before joining Leidos, Henrique was a Director and Assistant General Counsel for Corporate Governance and Securities at Capital One Financial Corporation. He was also an associate at the law firms of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Morrison & Foerster LLP in New York, focusing on capital markets transactions, securities, and corporate governance advisory for domestic and international clients.
Henrique serves as chair of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Corporate Law Forum for the National Capital Region. He is a graduate of Stanford Law School and the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil and is licensed to practice law in New York and Virginia.
