HR processes, policies and compliance strategies will need to evolve to adapt to changes in the nature of work, the workplace and the workforce. Companies will need to determine which pandemic-induced changes will remain, particularly relating to the role of remote work. Employers will need to rethink their processes for recruiting, hiring and onboarding talent while also adjusting policies on areas like team management and compensation.
The Evolving Workplace project will focus on the following questions:
- What is the impact of the changes in how and where work gets done on existing HR processes and policies? For example, how will recruiting and onboarding change?
- What will performance management processes look like?
- What are the implications for legal compliance?
- What are the potential public policy implications?
