HR Policy Association Becomes the CHRO Association This Fall
We have big news! I am delighted to announce that HR Policy Association will change its name to the CHRO Association this fall.
This is a powerful change designed for the membership by the membership. Thank you to all who have guided, advised, and participated in our research studies over the past months. Your input has been invaluable!
Decades ago, we changed our name from the Labor Policy Association (LPA) to HR Policy Association and broadened our focus. Now, it is again essential to change our name to reflect our dedication to serving today’s CHROs and HR executives in all the ways they need. We are committed to evolving the organization to elevate the profession and move the business and HR agendas forward for CHROs and their teams.
Timing: We are announcing this news only to members for now, with a public launch (along with our new website) toward the end of October.
Bookmark our Resource Page: Our CHRO Association "digital destination" has everything you need to know about our name transition and brand, including a launch timeline, FAQs, and a space to ask questions. Our goal is to make sure you are informed, prepared, and excited about the CHRO Association community.
Center on Workplace AI: We are delighted to announce a new center of excellence on AI and the workplace, chaired by IBM CHRO Nickle LaMoreaux. This resource will be available to all CHRO Association members and will provide CHROs with the best possible policy and practice expertise and advice as we reinvent the workplace with AI. This is just one example of the exciting changes to come!
The strength of our Association is in our extraordinary community of CHROs and their teams who will define the HR agenda for generations to come. Our name change marks the start of an important new chapter, and we look forward to working with you to make the CHRO Association the premier community for CHROs and HR executives across the globe.
We’d love to hear from you – please don’t hesitate to email us your questions and comments.
