Initial focus on best practices, disclosure: The Council will initially focus on two work streams:
- Best practices for expanding minority representation in senior leadership roles: We will hold webinars and develop a playbook on approaches members have taken to effectively improve diversity in their companies. (Please also see the summary of our recent D&I goal setting webinar featuring Accenture, Lowe's, and Prudential.)
- Diversity disclosures—principles and advocacy positions: The Council, working in conjunction with the Center On Executive Compensation and the Future Workplace Policy Council, will help develop and advocate for how the SEC and EEOC approach disclosure mandates.
Council available to HR Policy members: The council is a unique opportunity for CHROs and company heads of diversity to help shape a new path on diversity at a pivotal time for our companies and society.
