Preparing Your Organization for the Official CHRO Association Launch
Everything you need to know about logistics, finance, and a smooth transition to our new name.
If early 2026 renewals are any indication, member enthusiasm for our transformation is strong! The early sign-ups reflect both excitement and the thoughtful questions many of you have raised about the name change.
This week’s update—the first in a three-part series to help your organization prepare for the public launch in October—is on logistics and finance. The details are addressed in this week’s FAQs, but keep in mind that your organization’s own IT, finance and related systems will shape the exact process your company follows.
In later updates, we’ll cover topics such as connecting to the new website with ease and ensuring you and your teams continue receiving content securely.
Here are a few key points:
- This is a name-only change, not a legal entity change. No updates are needed to critical data such as tax IDs in your corporate systems.
- Finance and banking information remain the same. While some systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, etc.) may require you to update our vendor name, everything else remains unchanged.
- Risk and compliance requirements are fully covered. All licenses, certifications, and regulatory compliance documents transfer seamlessly and do not need to be reissued.
We're here to help make this transition as seamless as possible. Our team is prepared to work directly with your finance, billing, compliance, or other internal teams to ensure everything goes smoothly. For questions, reach out to your regular contacts or the member services team. Our leadership team is also ready to support you whenever needed.
Because we look forward to seeing many of you at the CHRO Fall Forum in Washington, DC next week, we won’t send another transformation update until the second week of September. In the meantime, please continue sharing your questions and feedback—we want to hear what’s on your mind as we move through this exciting transition together.
