HR Policy Global members convened in beautiful Singapore for our annual event.
Spanning an invigorating two days, our Asia Pacific Summit was a vibrant fusion of over 50 members and speakers coming together to learn, share, and forge valuable connections. We were thrilled to welcome a diverse mix of first-time attendees and returning participants from across Asia, the USA, and Europe, solidifying its status as a truly global gathering.
The summit kicked off with an inspiring address by Barbara Runyon, SVP and CHRO of Gentherm, who shared her remarkable career journey and insights into the dynamic challenges and opportunities within the Asia Pacific business landscape. Geopolitical influences were a hot topic, highlighted by the HR Policy Global leadership team and an eye-opening interactive data presentation on Asia Pacific Economics by Konstantin Matthies from Mastercard Institute.
We were privileged to host esteemed colleagues from two leading Asia Pacific firms: Jones Day, who enlightened us on regulatory trends in Australia, Singapore, and Indonesia, and Kim & Chang from Korea. Augustus Azariah from Kyndryl provided a comprehensive overview of India's evolving labor relations.
Manish Mehta from Mercer captivated the audience with an engaging presentation on AI's transformative impact on HR, sparking lively discussions during the breaks. Our Members Case Studies were a highlight, featuring Kylie Nicolson on IBM’s technology journey in managing complex ER cases and grievances, and Srijit Vijayan on Mondelez's innovative ‘Empower Program’ for ER/LR and Management.
The summit concluded on a high note with engaging activities designed to stimulate forward-thinking. Participants reimagined escalation processes "fit for the future" and donned their "union hat" to craft strategic corporate campaigns. The creative use of AI and the enthusiasm for pinpointing company vulnerabilities provided a fitting conclusion to two days of exceptional learning and sharing.
Heartfelt thanks to all our attendees for your enthusiastic feedback and engagement. We eagerly anticipate seeing our Global Members again in 2026!
