Tricia Oliveira
I was born in BrasÃlia and as a child I moved to Rio de Janeiro where I grew up, went to college and entered professional life. I started interning in 1991, and have continued practicing law ever since. I worked in companies and in small and large offices, always with a business focus. In 2004 I was hired by one of the largest full-service law firms in the country, Trench Rossi Watanabe, where I have been a partner in the labor area since 2015. Throughout my career I have dedicated myself to different projects involving the most varied industries such as oil and gas, consumer goods, agro, technology, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, services, automotive and logistics. Due to the characteristics of the services we provide, I participate in multidisciplinary projects involving the most varied subjects, such as investigations; due diligence; payroll audits; environmental contamination; corporate restructuring; fraud, among others. Serving multinational clients and with the firm's strategic cooperation with Baker Mackenzie, I have the opportunity to interact with multi-jurisdictional teams and participate in global projects, including simultaneous coordination of many of them, such as: due diligence; equalization of benefits and global policies; mass layoffs and global restructuring of companies. I am also responsible for coordinating various administrative and judicial processes, working from defining the strategy to any commercial changes resulting from the cases, which range from collective actions to individual actions by senior executives, involving various matters such as environmental contamination, occupational disease, mental health , discrimination, moral and sexual harassment, private equity, working hours; Child labor; work analogous to slavery. Being involved in so many controversial issues gave me differentiated experience in crisis management and collective bargaining. Therefore, it was natural to turn my attention to ESG issues, focusing on S, helping companies with diversity issues, programs to encourage women's work, various affirmative actions; differentiated hiring, mental health and supplier management. Furthermore, I am part of the office's diversity and inclusion committee, co-coordinating the gender equality group, promoting actions to better welcome women in the job market. I like working in a collaborative environment, where I can use my creativity, proactivity, pragmatism and communication skills.
