Scott Medsker
Scott Medsker serves as Vice President for Labor Relations at HCA Healthcare, where he leads a team of dedicated professionals supporting labor-management relations for one of the nation’s largest employers. With more than a decade in this role, Scott has direct responsibility for 38 collective bargaining agreements across 25 facilities and advises an additional 77 HCA locations on labor strategy and compliance.
Prior to joining HCA, Scott was an associate in the Labor & Employment practice at Jones Day, where he defended employers in nationwide class actions and complex multi-plaintiff litigation under the ADEA, Title VII, and FLSA. He also brings experience handling whistleblower retaliation matters and other high-stakes employment disputes.
Scott is committed to fostering fair and equitable labor practices and brings deep expertise in navigating complex union environments. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
