Luna Bloom

Ms. Bloom serves as Chief, Office of Rulemaking at the SEC. Since joining the SEC in various roles—including the Office of Legal & Regulatory Policy within the Division of Corporation Finance (as Acting Associate Director), the Office of Chief Counsel, and the Division’s Legal Policy group—she has played a central role in shaping corporate disclosure and regulatory reform.
Prior to her tenure at the SEC, Luna practiced as an associate at Shearman & Sterling in New York. She earned her J.D. from New York Law School, where she served as Executive Editor of the Law Review, and holds a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine.
