
As Creative Director, Marie leads the Association’s brand expression and external messaging, shaping how the organization communicates its value to senior HR leaders and other key audiences. She develops and drives cross-organizational initiatives that amplify the Association’s voice and strengthen its member engagement, from high-level positioning strategy to on-the-ground execution across events, web, and email. Marie also partners closely with senior leadership to ensure the Association’s outward-facing work reflects its mission and resonates with its audience.
Marie has been with the Association since 2010, contributing to its growth and evolution over the past 15 years with a rare blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and institutional knowledge.
She began her career leading creative strategy for a high-end specialty food and cookware store, state-of-the-art cooking school, and its James Beard–nominated restaurant. Marie earned a BFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and graduated summa cum laude from Living Arts College in Raleigh. A lifelong musician, she now teaches violin lessons for fun.
