Dean Carter
Dean Carter is the Chief People Officer, Emeritus & Evangelist at Guild where he helps advance Guild’s trademark culture of opportunity by advising other CHROs as they redesign their people practices to deliver greater opportunity and career mobility. Dean has been an innovative and industry-recognized leader of people and culture for over two decades and previously led global people & culture, legal, and finance teams for Patagonia reporting directly to the CEO. He also currently serves as an independent director on the Board of Directors for Griffith Foods, a high-growth Chicago-based privately held sustainable food company, and he served several years as an independent director on the Board of Cornerstone OnDemand (NASDAQ: CSOD), a now-private, formerly publicly traded, cloud-based SaaS HR technology company. Dean is also highly involved in local community service as a board member for The Music Academy and Pacific Pride.
