Vaccine Push for Private Sector Employees, Camps at Gurgaon Offices

April 08, 2021

Private hospitals received permission on March 31st from the state health department to set up COVID vaccination camps on office premises beginning on April 1st, a shot in the arm for hundreds of global and Indian companies that have their headquarters in Gurgaon. These companies can now get eligible employees inoculated against the virus in their premises itself. For example, from April 5th, private hospitals like Max, Artemis, and Fortis will begin drives by setting such camps at offices of Apollo Tyres, Panasonic, CoForge, Honda Motorcycles, etc. These companies have been asked to share a database of employees who can be pre-registered. Medical teams from these hospitals will visit the offices and administer the vaccine, with the company providing the infrastructure.
