Australia & New Zealand Industrial Relations Update
In our next webinar to focus on the Oceanic region, we're turning our attention to both sides of 'the ditch' - New Zealand and Australia. The recently introduced Fair Pay Agreement legislation in New Zealand will see unions and employer associations brought together to bargain for minimum employment terms, while changes to Australian legislation under the 'Secure Jobs, Better Pay Act' brings multi-employer bargaining into the industrial relations landscape.
Our presenters - Sherridan Cook (Partner, Buddle Findlay, Auckland) and Adam Salter (Partner, Jones Day, Perth) - will discuss the impact of the new legislation on employers, and also provide some comparisons of the two systems for those professionals managing industrial relations across both jurisdictions.
Topics: China, Japan & Asia-Pacific, Employee Relations, Inclusion and Diversity, Jobs, Skills and Training
