BEERG Network Meeting

Wednesday, September 28 – Thursday, September 29, 2022

The next BEERG Network meeting will take place at the Pullman Hotel, Gare Midi, Brussels on Wednesday afternoon/Thursday morning, September 28–29. The meeting will begin at 14:00 on Wednesday afternoon and finish at 12:00 on Thursday. There will be a reception and dinner on Wednesday night, plus a pre-dinner speaker who will address the European energy strategy following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. 

Key discussion items on the agenda include:

•  An update on the EU legislative agenda

•  Managing virtual meetings effectively

•   New employee relations challenges involve GDPR, the governance 
    of artificial intelligence and employee information and consultation obligations. 

•   The management of contingent workforces in the context of new 
    reporting requirements and supply chain due diligence

 

Guest speakers include: Ruben Agote of Cuatrecasas law firm, Barcelona; Dan Baker of Accenture; Deirdre Crowley of Matheson, Dublin; Dianna Owen of Oracle; Frederik Otto of Adecco; Oliver Patel of Holistic AI; and Gerlind Wisskirchen, CMS-HS.
